Sara is mum to Daniel, who has very complex needs. In this video Sara passionately describes how support for Daniel – like physiotherapy – was denied during the pandemic, and the toll COVID has had on her as a carer.
We are calling on the UK government to properly support disabled children and families through dedicated recovery policies. We also need to build a better future for disabled children, with proper investment in their health and care services. We can’t go back to normal, because normal wasn’t enough.
